Vigil for Alton Sterling & Philando Castile - University of Michigan
This was slated to be a vigil for one man who's life was lost prematurely, but in the 2 days since he was killed, more and more instances of unwarranted death unfolded. These students came together and shared the full spectrum of emotions. Those that consider themselves allies were there to voice their support. While it was good to see and hear of love, unity, persistence, and accept that there is bitterness, anger and even hate, this is the worst of circumstances to have to express these feelings.
